Thyroid Cancer: It’s more common than you think.

In fact, it’s one of the most common cancers found in women today. It’s also a slow growing cancer and has a very high treatment success rate. Symptoms are difficulty swallowing, voice changes, a lump or swelling in the neck. Other related conditions include goiters, hyperthyroidism, and hyperparathyroidism. Many times, nodules are found by palpation or on ultrasounds, after which a needle biopsy is usually performed to confirm cancer or suspicion for cancer.
