Dr. Bruce A. Scott, MD is board certified in both Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery. His practice includes all aspects of otolaryngology, with special emphasis on nasal and sinus problems including nasal obstruction, chronic sinusitis, and cosmetic nasal surgery. As a fellowship trained facial plastic surgeon he specializes in cosmetic rhinoplasty balancing cosmetic refinement with advanced airway correction—ensuring you both improve your image and breathe freely through your nose.
He serves as the President of Kentuckiana Ear, Nose & Throat. A native Louisvillian, he attended St. Xavier High School, graduated with high honors from Vanderbilt University and the University of Texas Medical Branch, and completed his residency and fellowship training in Texas.
With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Scott is recognized as an outstanding clinician and surgeon. He has been named a "Top Doc" and "Top Surgeon" by Louisville Magazine for several years and listed among the "Best Physicians in America" by national publications. He has authored over 30 scientific articles and book chapters.
Dr. Scott recently completed his term as president of the American Medical Association - the first otolaryngologist to hold this national office! He previously served as the president of the Kentucky Medical Association and the Greater Louisville Medical Society.
He is married and has three adult children.
